Its an interesting thought. We all live in a mind warp. Where time and its passage in our lives seems to leave our memories and thoughts far behind.
While I would agree with anyone who might say that; that is a perfectly vague sentence. Pray be patient. I have a point.
A short story to elaborate it. I was talking to a dear friend who lives by herself. She refused to do visit somewhere stating that her 'boy' would be left out of it and alone.
Coming back to my point, until now, I had believed that this was the same playful 'kiddish' person I had spoken to a while ago. All of a sudden that whole image was shattered and that one sentence forced me to rethink the entire image I had of this person.
It was hardly a while ago she was carefree in her own world lost roaming. And here she was, actually a mature, understanding person with a sense of resposibility in complete contrast to that prior image.
Which brings me back to that time warp. It also reminds me of the movie wake up sid. Where the protagonist does everything he can to show the girl he likes that he's grown up and yet she requires a shakedown to break that image she's lived in belief of the whole time.
That time is running away is true but time faster than thought is truly numbing. What do you think?
